Taekwondo Club
Taekwondo club is taking place on Thursdays and the club is taken by a professional coach. Places are allocated on a first come , first served basis. Pupils taking part will need to bring suitable clothing, e.g. tracksuit and shorts or Taekwando suits (not school PE kits) and should bring a water bottle with them.
Parents should collect pupils from the door adjacent to the school office.
Pupils must be collected promptly as coaches have other clubs to go to.

Taekwondo is a version of unarmed combat designed for the purpose of self-defence. "Tae" stands for jumping or flying, to kick or smash with the foot. "Kwon" denotes the fist - chiefly to punch with the hand or fist. "Do" means an art or way - the right way built and paved by the saints and sages in the past.
